I was raised in Columbia, Missouri, where I found my calling right after high school, when a job as a dental assistant turned into a love for the work. Encouraged by a mentor, I set out to become a dentist and chose to study in Nicaragua, my family’s home country, where I volunteered providing free care in underserved communities.

That commitment to service still shapes how I practice today, where I lead with empathy: I listen first, take the time to understand each patient, and explain care in a way that meets you where you are, never talking down and never judging. My aim is simple: for every patient to feel heard, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

After earning my dental degree, I returned to the U.S. and completed a two-year residency with the Northwest Dental Residency, where I served as Chief Resident and cared for communities across Eastern Washington, learning from mentors who sharpened both my clinical skill and my chairside manner. I later joined a downtown Seattle practice as an associate, continually expanding my certifications through advanced training.

When I was ready to set my own standard, Dr. Vu was ready to pass the torch at Summit Dental Care, and I knew I had found the perfect fit: a practice built on clinical excellence without exception, empathy, hospitality, and a space where my patients and team always feel safe and welcome.

Outside the office, my husband and I have planted roots in Seattle, drawn to the Pacific Northwest’s nature and adventure. We love hiking, traveling, and cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks alongside our daughter, Violet, and our dog, Ollie. I’m a lifelong learner, always reaching for the next book to read or skill to master.
