Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply to your use of summitdentalcareseattle.com. By browsing the site, submitting the contact form, or downloading anything from it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Summit Dental Care, and “you” means the person using the website.
These terms cover the website. They do not govern the dental care we provide, which is covered by the treatment consents, financial agreements, and privacy notices you receive as a patient, and by Washington law.
Accepting these terms or continuing to browse does not accept analytics. Analytics uses the separate choices described in our Privacy Policy.
This website is not dental advice
Everything on this site is general information, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
Our service descriptions, care instructions, downloadable PDFs, and team pages are here to help you understand what we do and prepare for a visit. They are not a substitute for an examination, and no one can tell you what your teeth need without looking at them.
Your care may differ from what is described here. Always follow the personalized instructions your dentist gives you. If those instructions ever conflict with something on this website, follow your dentist and let us know so we can correct the page.
Reading this website, or sending us a message through it, does not create a dentist–patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are accepted as a patient of the practice.
Emergencies
For a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use this website or the contact form or Text Us widget to report an emergency — we do not monitor submissions continuously and cannot guarantee a timely response.
For a dental emergency during office hours, call us at (206) 292-9980. Outside office hours, call the same number and follow the instructions in the greeting.
For a dental emergency involving swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or bleeding that will not stop, call 911 or go to an emergency room.
Appointment requests
Submitting the appointment form is a request, not a booked appointment. It becomes an appointment only when a member of our team confirms the date and time with you directly. Availability is not guaranteed, and we may need to suggest a different time.
We reply within one business hour during office hours (Mon–Tue 8–5, Wed–Thu 7–4) with two appointment options. The thank-you page acknowledges that the form service accepted your request; it does not confirm an appointment. If this is urgent, call (206) 292-9980.
Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you, and let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the time to another patient.
Using the website
You are welcome to use this site to learn about the practice and get in touch. Please do not:
- Use it for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone
- Submit false information, or someone else’s information without their permission
- Send spam, bulk, or automated submissions through the contact form
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, or probe, scan, or interfere with how it works
- Scrape or harvest content, or use automated tools that place an unreasonable load on the site
- Upload or transmit malware or any other harmful code
- Copy our content to promote a competing practice or business
We may block access or remove content if we believe any of the above is happening.
Content and ownership
The text, photographs, illustrations, design, logo, and code on this site are owned by Summit Dental Care or used under license, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may view the site, and print or download the materials we offer for download — care instructions and patient forms — for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with your care. Any other copying, republishing, redistribution, or commercial use needs our written permission.
The Summit Dental Care name and logo are our marks. Other product, company, and brand names on this site belong to their respective owners; mentioning them does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation unless we say so explicitly.
What you send us
We handle contact form submissions as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains why you should not send detailed health information, insurance numbers, or other sensitive details through the form.
Please do not send us confidential or proprietary material through this website. If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the practice or the site, we are free to use them without any obligation to you.
Links and third-party services
This site links to and embeds services we do not operate — including an embedded Google map, Weave Text Connect messaging, Web3Forms form delivery, optional Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, our review and social profiles, and our online payment portal at weavebillpay.com.
Once you follow one of those links, you are subject to that company’s terms and privacy policy rather than ours. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Payments made through the billing portal are processed by that provider, not by us.
Accessibility
We want this site to be usable by everyone, and we build it toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
If any part of it is difficult to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or any other assistive technology, please tell us at (206) 292-9980 or [email protected]. We will get you the information another way and work on fixing the problem.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep the site available and current, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, including these terms, at any time.
Details change: office hours, accepted insurance plans, team members, and the services we offer. If you are relying on something specific, please call us at (206) 292-9980 to confirm it.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, this website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
This disclaimer is about the website only. It does not apply to the dental care we provide, and nothing in it limits our professional obligations to our patients.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Dental Care and its owners, dentists, and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for:
- Professional negligence in the dental care we provide
- Death or personal injury
- Fraud or intentional misconduct
- Anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Washington law
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. Where that is the case, those limitations do not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
This section concerns the website. A dispute about dental care follows the process Washington law provides for health care claims.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms as the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top will change with them, and we will note material changes on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a provision right away, we have not waived our right to enforce it later.
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about this website. They do not replace any treatment consent, financial agreement, or Notice of Privacy Practices you sign as a patient.
